Kimberly-Clark Health Care named 2010 VHA Service Excellence Award - Non-Pharmacy Supplier of the Year
KIMBERLY-CLARK HEALTH CARE NAMED 2010 VHA SERVICE EXCELLENCE AWARD – NON-PHARMACY SUPPLIER OF THE YEAR
(ROSWELL, Ga. – June 17, 2010) – Kimberly-Clark Health Care announced today that it has been named the winner of the 2010 VHA Service Excellence Award – Non- Pharmacy Supplier of the Year. Kimberly-Clark Health Care was recognized for its overall support and customer assistance and for its work to help members manage the supply of facial protection products during the H1N1 outbreak. “Despite the massive increase in demand for face masks during the H1N1 outbreak, we were able to quickly respond and provide the needed communication and assistance to our customers as they worked to supply the appropriate protection for their staff members and patients,” said Jay Hexamer, general manager, North America medical supplies, Kimberly-Clark Health Care. “We are honored to receive this award from the VHA members and Novation senior leadership team in recognition of our supply efforts, especially during the H1N1 outbreak.” Candidates for the award are recommended and selected based upon their sales interactions with VHA members, overall customer satisfaction and responsiveness to VHA staff and members. Kimberly-Clark Health Care was recognized at a special awards banquet during the 2010 VHA Leadership Conference in Orlando, Fla., May 2–4, 2010.
