Please note: Effective January 1, 2008 CMS discontinued the use of HCPCS code B4086 for gastrostomy/jejunostomy tube, any type. This code has been replaced by two new HCPCS codes:
B4087: Gastrostomy/jejunostomy tube, standard, any material
B4088: Gastrostomy/jejunostomy tube, low-profile, any material
Medicare has not published a fee schedule for the new codes. As a result we are unable to provide you with the most current reimbursement information.
In addition, we are working with the various state Medicaid programs to determine when they will be adopting these new codes and appropriate fee schedules.
