What is the difference between the Marketplace Catalog and the Product area?
The Kimberly-Clark Health Care Marketplace is for customers with login accounts to the site's eBusiness functions, such as checking order status and purchasing. The Marketplace Catalog is the product-browsing portion of the Marketplace, where logged-in customers can choose items from the product areas they can access and add those items to their "cart" for creating online orders.

The Kimberly-Clark Health Care Products area of the website is a public information resource, where all our customers, most of whom have no need for specialized online business functions, can view and learn about all our products in detail.

What is the goal of the eBusiness initiative, and the eBusiness Marketplace?
Our primary driver is to improve the ease of doing business with us, but one of the other opportunities is the ability to move information as well as products, as increased knowledge about our products is as important as selling and distributing them.

What products will be sold in the Marketplace?
We plan to offer our full line of products. Our goal is to do everything possible to make it easy for our customers to do business with Kimberly-Clark.

Will the Marketplace allow hospitals and clinics to purchase supplies directly from you and avoid middlemen (GPOs)?
We do not foresee the Marketplace impacting our current supply channels in any way in the near term. Distributors, GPOs and Kimberly-Clark share a common goal, and that is to drive eBusiness as a means of reducing the supply chain costs in the long run.
